April Lasky is a production designer based in Brooklyn, NY. She began working in the film industry as an background actor at the age of eight with her father. While working on set, she experienced seeing the work of the art department bring imaginary worlds into a physical reality, leaving a strong impact on her. She received her BFA in Interior Design and combined that with her passion and knowledge she gained in the film industry to tell stories through the art of production design.

In her spare time she likes to work on her vintage jeep, carve wooden spoons, ride her motorcycle, take photos with her medium format Mamiya camera and make miniatures.

She is represented by WME and a member of IATSE United Scenic Artists Local 829.
