April Lasky is a production designer based in Brooklyn, NY. She began working in the film industry as an actress at the age of eight. While working on set, she experienced seeing the work of the art department bring worlds into a physical reality, leaving a strong impact on her. She received her BFA in Interior Design and combined that with her passion and knowledge of film to tell stories through production design.

 

She has worked for acclaimed directors such as Steven Soderberg "Unsane" (2018) and Larry Fessenden "Depraved" (2019). She recently collaborated with David Gutnik on "Materna" (2020) which won Best Cinematography and Best Actress at Tribeca Film Festival 2020. Her most recent film directed by Eytan Rockaway "Lansky" (2021)  is a multi-period film starring Harvey Keitel.

 

She is represented by WME and a member of IATSE United Scenic Artists Local 829.
