“Taipei” follows an unexpected, fast-blooming romance between Brooklyn writers Erin and Paul. The story covers a spontaneous wedding, drug binges, all-night urban revels and a trip to Paul’s native Taiwan — where the couple confronts their individual alienation. Based on the book by Tao Lin.
